Overview

Production-Grade.
Not Lab-Only.

HyperQ AI Vision is an automated visual inspection system built for manufacturers that need production-grade inspection, not lab-only performance. It detects real defects at line speed, adapts to product variation, and integrates into existing operations without forcing a hardware reset.

01

Surface Defect Detection

Microscopic scratches, cracks, foreign material, and surface anomalies at micrometer precision.

02

Dimensional Inspection

Measure, verify, and flag geometric deviations without manual calipers or sampling.

03

OCR & Presence Verification

Character recognition across 8,000+ SKUs. Correct lot, correct label, correct orientation.

04

Automatic Logic Switching

Product code change triggers inspection logic switch. No manual reset, no operator intervention.

Inspection Workflow

Four Steps.
Zero Gaps.

No proprietary hardware lock-in. No cloud dependency required. No manual reset every time the SKU changes.

01
Step 1

Capture

Existing cameras stream frames at line speed. No proprietary sensors required.

02
Step 2

Interpret

Edge AI model classifies defects, verifies dimensions, reads OCR — all on-device.

03
Step 3

Decide

Pass / reject / hold decisions generated per part, per SKU, below 0.3s.

04
Step 4

Act

PLC or MES trigger — eject, halt, or alert — with full trace to production data.

Outcomes

What Improves
On the Line.

Higher Detection Consistency

AI never fatigues, never misses a shift, never needs recalibration for lighting. Defect rates tracked, not estimated.

Faster Throughput

Sub-0.3s inspection at line speed. No sample-based inspection bottlenecks. Every part, every cycle.

Lower Changeover Friction

SKU change triggers automatic model switch. No operator intervention. Zero downtime between product runs.

Less Hardware Lock-in

Camera-agnostic. Runs on existing infrastructure with existing compute. No proprietary sensor contracts.

Deployment

Designed for Brownfield Reality.

Real production environments are not clean demo floors. HyperQ AI Vision is built for the complexity of existing infrastructure — mixed camera brands, legacy PLCs, and retrofitted cells.

Existing Camera Compatibility

Integrates where camera angle, resolution, and image quality support production inspection.

Edge Processing on Jetson / IPC

Runs on NVIDIA Jetson Orin or industrial PC. Sub-10ms inference on device. No cloud latency.

PLC / MES / OT Integration

MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA. Pass/reject signals direct to PLC. Trace data to MES. Full OT compatibility.

Air-Gapped Deployment

Fully on-premise. No internet required. Data stays on the factory floor.

Pilot-First Rollout

Start with one line, one product code. Validate before fleet-wide deployment.

FAQ

Common Questions.

What defects can HyperQ AI Vision detect?

HyperQ AI Vision detects surface defects (scratches, cracks, stains, foreign material), dimensional deviations, print and OCR errors, and irregular anomalies that rule-based vision systems miss. Detection precision reaches micrometer scale on supported applications.

Will it work with our existing cameras?

In most cases, yes — where camera angle, resolution, and image quality are sufficient for the inspection task. Hypernology is camera-agnostic. If your current setup is not fit for purpose, we will advise on the lowest-cost upgrade path.

How much training data is required?

Approximately 1,000 labeled samples for most inspection types. The OCR module supports 8,000+ product models with zero per-SKU configuration. Complex defect detection applications may require more, and our team will advise during scoping.

Can it handle multiple SKUs on one line?

Yes. Automatic logic switching activates the correct inspection model when a product code change is detected. No manual reconfiguration, no operator action, no downtime between runs.

Can it run fully on-premise without cloud?

Yes. HyperQ AI Vision runs entirely on edge devices — NVIDIA Jetson or industrial PC. No internet connectivity required. Fully air-gapped deployment is supported. Data never leaves the facility unless explicitly configured.

How long does a pilot take?

Pattern inspection can be operational in approximately 30 minutes of installation plus 30 minutes of model training. Vision and OCR applications depend on line configuration and inspection complexity. We scope this precisely before starting.
